WADEC is a non- profit non-governmental (NGO) whose mission is to actualize the dreams of the under privileged women and young girls by assisting them to achieve basic skills and education that will help to improve their livelihood in the society.

Women Awake Development Center mission's is to empower women and young girls to explore their potentials, control their future so that we can close gender gaps between men, women, boys and girls in the society.

To create a world where women and young girls will be able to have equal opportunities in the society. WADEC envisions a world in which women and young girls are empowered to achieve their skills at their maximum potentials.
Community development
By empowering women and young girls in some areas in the Nigerian society, we are creating better chances to improve the general quality of life, which would in turn result to rapid development in these areas
Economic development
We go beyond skill acquisition, we create opportunities for skilled individual to increase their relevance and sustainability through trainings introduction of technological advancements and innovations in entrepreneurial capacity.
Gender equality
Women are the soul of every community, so by empowering women and young girls through series of educational, enlightening and informative programs, we groom to improve their livelihood as well as providing them the effort to become leaders.
